1. Eligibility

Customers must be at least 21 years old, provide accurate booking information, and may be required to provide government-issued identification, boating safety credentials, and a valid payment method.

2. Rental Use

Vessels may only be used in permitted waterways, during the approved rental window, and in accordance with all federal, state, local, marina, and operator rules.

3. Safety Rules

• Life jackets and required safety equipment must remain onboard and be used as required by law.
• No reckless operation, towing, racing, illegal activity, or operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Customers must follow weather advisories and staff instructions.

4. Damage, Deposit & Late Return

The customer is responsible for damage, missing equipment, excessive cleaning, fuel/electric charging shortages, fines, tow charges, and late returns. A refundable security deposit or card authorization may be required before launch.

5. Assumption of Risk

Boating involves risk including injury, property damage, weather changes, collisions, and equipment failure. Customer accepts these risks to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Payment Authorization

By booking, the customer authorizes charges for the rental price, taxes, fees, deposits, damages, late returns, and other charges disclosed at checkout.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pontoon.Today is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or vessel.

Information We Collect

We may collect name, email, phone, booking details, selected vessel, rental date/time, launch location, ID verification information, signed agreements, support messages, device data, and payment confirmation data.

Payments

Payment information is processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not intend to store full card numbers on this website.

How We Use Data

We use data to process bookings, verify eligibility, prevent fraud, provide support, manage deposits, comply with legal obligations, and improve service quality.

Sharing

Information may be shared with payment processors, verification providers, insurance partners, marina/service partners, legal/compliance advisors, and authorities where required by law.

Customers may contact support@pontoon.today to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where legally available.

Customer Cancellation

• 48+ hours before rental: eligible for full refund minus non-refundable processing fees, if any.
• 24–48 hours before rental: eligible for 50% refund or booking credit.
• Less than 24 hours: non-refundable unless approved due to operational or safety reasons.

Weather

If unsafe weather prevents operation, customer may receive a reschedule credit or refund according to company determination and local safety conditions.

No-Show

No-shows are non-refundable. Late arrival may reduce rental time and does not automatically extend the booking.

Company Cancellation

If Pontoon.Today cancels due to mechanical, safety, weather, or operational reasons, customer may receive a refund or reschedule option.

Deposits

Security deposits or card authorizations are released after inspection, minus any valid charges for damage, cleaning, missing equipment, fuel/charging, fines, or late return.
