1. Eligibility
Customers must be at least 21 years old, provide accurate booking information, and may be required to provide government-issued identification, boating safety credentials, and a valid payment method.
2. Rental Use
Vessels may only be used in permitted waterways, during the approved rental window, and in accordance with all federal, state, local, marina, and operator rules.
3. Safety Rules
- Life jackets and required safety equipment must remain onboard and be used as required by law.
- No reckless operation, towing, racing, illegal activity, or operation under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Customers must follow weather advisories and staff instructions.
4. Damage, Deposit & Late Return
The customer is responsible for damage, missing equipment, excessive cleaning, fuel/electric charging shortages, fines, tow charges, and late returns. A refundable security deposit or card authorization may be required before launch.
5. Assumption of Risk
Boating involves risk including injury, property damage, weather changes, collisions, and equipment failure. Customer accepts these risks to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Payment Authorization
By booking, the customer authorizes charges for the rental price, taxes, fees, deposits, damages, late returns, and other charges disclosed at checkout.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pontoon.Today is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service or vessel.
